The Cabin Farm is neither a hotel, motel, bed & breakfast, or inn. The Cabin Farm is a family farm which can be rented and used for such purposes as highlighted herein.

 

Policies

Occupancy depends on the home that is available
Two night minimum rental on weekends
A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to make a reservation. Upon arrival, the fee will be applied to stay
10 (Ten) day advance notice is required for all cancellations
7 (Seven) day notice is requested for all reservations
The Cabin Farm and the entire property is non-smoking. This includes all spaces indoors and outdoors.
Pets are limited and by approval of the owners.
Guests who arrive after their confirmed arrival date or who depart before their confirmed departure date will be charged the full rate unless the accommodation is resold for that booked period.

Trash Disposal and Recycling

Proper disposal of trash should be taken by all guests. The Cabin Farm is not a hotel and cleaning crews do not come through. By staying with us, you are agreeing to keep the grounds, interior, and entire facility “as good if not better” than you found it. We ask that you treat our home as it was your own.

Meals

Meals are not included or provided in any stay by the Cabin Farm. Homes are furnished with a working “country kitchen”. Country meaning that all the frills of modern kitchens may not be available. Refrigeration, ovens, microwaves and coffee makers are available for your use. Catering by a 3rd party recommended vendor is available upon request.

Pets

Pets are not permitted unless prior approval is obtained.

Alcholic Beverage Policy

The Cabin Farm will not serve alcoholic beverages to guests for any event and is not responsible for the handling, storing, distribution, or selling of mixed drinks, beer, wine, and cordials. Event sponsors may serve alcoholic beverages under the terms and conditions consistent with the applicable laws of the State of North Carolina.

Tobacco, Drugs, and Weapons

Smoking, all illegal drugs and other substances, weapons of all kinds except law enforcement officers in the execution of their duties, are prohibited in all of our facilities. Any smoking must take place outdoors in specifically marked areas.

Septic and Well Water

The Cabin farm is on a well water & septic system. Respect of this system is required by all of our guests

Damages

All damages to the property must be reported immediately. A minimum of $75 (not to exceed $150) may be assessed for additional cleaning services if the property is left in poor condition. Cleaning supplies are available for your convenience. All guests are expected to leave the space “as good if not better than originally found”.

Damage to Personal Property

The Cabin Farm cannot assume responsibility for personal property and equipment brought on to the premises.

Indemnification

In consideration for use of the facility, the guest hereby agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless The Cabin farm and it’s owners from and against any and all liability, loss, damage injury or death arising from acts connected with User’s activities while using the facilities, whether same is caused by or arises from the negligence of User or of its participants, members or guests or by failure to perform any terms of this agreement.
The Cabin Farm owners have the authority to ask individuals or the total group to leave the facility when they will not cooperate with the policies of the Cabin Farm. The Cabin Farm owners will consult with the leader of the group before this extreme action is taken.

Privacy Policy

The Cabin Farm will not sell, trade, or share your personal or organizational information with third parties without receiving written permission in advance. All information obtained through our reservation process and other services will be kept confidential unless otherwise permitted in writing by the individual and/or organization. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. Individuals may opt out of receiving newsletters and other solicitations from the Cabin Farm at any time.
